It takes prayer for things to happen. When people pray God starts to act. It is prayer that licenses God to perform on earth. He has power over all. He can see your problems but he will only act on your prayer. He will take action on your prayer. Anytime you close your mouth you are closing your own destiny.
2 Samuel 21:1 Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the Lord. And the Lord answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites.
It is natural that when you see a famine happening you take it as a natural happening. The devil has managed to make attacks on believers seem as natural. David was wise to enquire. The good part is that when you pray God answers. You can actually suffer three years for something you never did. Anything that is tormenting your family that does not relate to your family must leave your family now in Jesus name. You have to find out why things are like what they are. Do not take things happening as normal because it has repeated itself. Why is this happening for three years consecutive. Things don’t happen because its your time, things happen because you prayed.
Luke 2:36-38 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
Isaiah prophesied that unto you Judah a child is going to be born. For Jesus to be born there were people praying for him to be born. For over 70 years, this woman was praying and fasting, night and day. She was praying that Jesus must be born yet Jesus was prophesied. The prophesy is saying Jesus is going to be born in Bethlehem, but his mother was in Nazareth. There is a displacement that can happen when someone is not praying. Your car could be right close to you but you are not driving it. This woman was awaiting to see Jesus. Her prayers made things to be corrected and Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Demonic plans can be corrected if you pray. Jesus birth was not only prophetic someone was praying for it. When you pray you make prophesies come to pass in your life. When we are praying we are moving what is displaced to move into the right hands.
Elijah prayed the first time and he told the boy to go and check for the clouds. Elijah wasn’t praying for the rain to come in other peoples time, he was praying for rain to come in his time. He sent the boy until the seventh time. If it does not happen the first time don’t stop. You are not praying to end the time of prayer you are praying for answers, you do not stop until you see your answer. I know people can be sick but you have to enquire why it is happening to you. I know people get broke but you have to ask why it is happening to you. You have to end prayer with your testimony.
2 Peter 1:3-4 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
According to heaven, everything was already provided for you. You must get everything. The devil must leave your life. We use what he said to collect. Everything God gives us is for free.
Deuteronomy 2:24 Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
However, where you are at the moment, you can’t collect anything. You have to move. God is saying begin to take a spiritual journey from now. God gives you for free but you possess by a fight. If you don’t fight for your health you will never find health. He said I give you for free but to possess it, you have to fight for it in prayer.
Luke 9:29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.
There can be alteration in the physical when someone prays. There is no part of your body that can not respond to prayer. Jesus was born with nothing good to look at but when Jesus found he had nothing attractive to look at, he didn’t complain he went into prayer and his face changed. This physical world is waiting for you prayer. Someone may enjoy what is yours if your don’t pray. The car which is supposed to be yours is being driven by someone else. Until you pray you wont possess it.
Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
